performed with a chaperone present.)

Gynaecological Examination with in-house Gynaecology Consultant or Specialist

Ultrasound of the Abdomen and Pelvis (Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to
produce pictures of the organs. It is used to assess organs such as the kidneys, liver,
gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen. Ultrasound is safe, non-invasive and does not use
ionising radiation. It is a pain and hassle-free procedure.)

Ultrasound Breast (For assessment of possible
abnormalities within the breast.)

Mammogram Breast (if 40 years or over) (referral) (For the assessment of possible
abnormalities within the breast using x-ray-based technology.)

Gynaecological Ultrasound Scan (This includes a range of well-woman scans such as pelvic scan and ovarian cancer screening scan.)
